Yahtzee Windows Applicaion

yahtzee dice

As you probably already know, Yahtzee is a classic game of chance and strategy involving at least two players and five dice. The object of the game is to make different scoring combinations using the dice and track them on a scorecard. The player with the highest total scorecard wins. I took on the challenge of replicating this simple dice game by creating an inviting and fun to play windows application.

The application allows two players to go head-to-head in a battle of luck and strategy. Each player has their own scorecard that allows them play complete each round by filling in a scoring combination (full house, small straight, 4-of-kind, etc.). Once all 13 rounds have been played, scorecards are totaled and the winner of the game is determined. This project took around 20 hours to complete. The application is built using object-oriented programming techniques in C# and runs on Windows operating systems.
